This is a safe and harmless treatment, which allows the teeth to be whitened by several shades with no drilling. We are currently offering three systems
Home Whitening. Custom-made trays are worn at home at night with a whitening agent.
“Zoom In Surgery whitening” Your teeth are treated in the dental chair utilising a stronger whitening agent and a plasma light.
Enlighten. An American system, which utilises both home and in surgery procedures to ensure that your teeth whiten to their lightest shade.
These are the latest in modern dental procedures where your missing teeth can be replaced by either, crowns, bridges or dentures which are fixed to titanium screws implanted into your jaw bones by our visiting specialist. This is a safe and relatively simple procedure, which has transformed millions of people’s lives around the world. There is no longer a need for dentures to be loose and impossible to use.
This is a modern approach to orthodontics, which utilises virtually invisible, removable appliances instead of the conventional “train Tracks”. The system uses computer simulation to demonstrate how your teeth would move and look and we can often tell you exactly how long the treatment can take.
An appliance which can help reduce snoring is now available.
Ask your dentist for details.
It is generally accepted that undiagnosed migraines and headaches, may be dental in origin. Ask your Dentist for more information.
This is a condition where there has been bone loss around your teeth. This is usually due to a history of poor oral hygiene associated with strsss and smoking, however, it can occur in some people for no obvious reason. If untreated it can result in the premature loss of teeth.
We are lucky enough to have a visiting Periodontist who is able to help treat this condition and prolong the life expectancy of your teeth.
Your Dentist may refer you to the Periodontist if they feel that you would benefit from some treatment.
In order for you to maintain your entitlement to NHS dental treatment at this practice, you are required to visit the practice for a routine examination at least every 15 months. If you fail to do this then you may find that you may have to pay privately for your treatment.
Please note that if you are seen for an emergency appointment between examinations, this will not automatically extend your registration, your registration will only be extended from a pre booked examination appointment.
Due to the busy nature of the practice, appointments are precious to everyone.
It is therefore to everyone’s benefit that, if you are unable to keep an appointment you give us as much notice as possible. These appointments can usually be reallocated.
Patients who miss appointments, or continually cancel at short notice, may find that their Dentist will no longer be willing to offer them further appointments for dental treatment.

We ask that, if you feel we are not accommodating you to your satisfaction with appointment times that suit your work commitments, you discuss this with the reception staff, in the hope that they can find you a mutually convenient appointment.
You will usually be asked for payment on the day the work is done, for crowns, bridges and dentures this is usually the day the work is started. Please be prepared to pay fees when asked to do so by the receptionist.
